We collect information you provide when you create an account, create an event, or contact us. We also collect information from guests who upload content to your events.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

When you create a Guest POV account, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Account creation date and activity
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store card details)
• Event details you create within your account

When a guest uploads content to a Guest POV event, we collect:

• Name and email address provided at upload
• Optional relationship to host
• Marketing opt-in preference (if selected)
• Upload timestamp and verification status

Guests do not need to create an account. Their data is associated with the event they uploaded to.

Photos and videos uploaded to Guest POV are stored securely and are only accessible via the event gallery to people with your event link or QR code.

We do not use your photos or videos for advertising, AI training, facial recognition or any purpose other than delivering the Guest POV service.

We use the data we collect to:

• Operate and improve the Guest POV service
• Send transactional emails (like verification codes needed to create or access your account)
• Send marketing emails if you or your guests have opted in
• Handle support and billing requests
• Comply with legal obligations

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorised Guest POV team members.

During early access (MVP), data is retained for the duration of your account being active. Full retention and deletion policies will be published before public launch.

You have the right to request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account and data. To make a request, email us at hello@myguestpov.com. Identity verification may be required.
